I was born in Lugano, 26 April 1980, during a rainy day; my mother has Italian origins and my father Hungarian and Swedish one, but I am Swiss.  Since I was young I dreamt to fly and I wanted to be a champion, like my mother, Silvia Massenz, who made the Italian High Jump record before Sara Simeoni.

Before Track and Field I did other sports: gymnastics, fencing, volleyball, and then, when I was 17, I began to do athletics, high jump. It was a sudden love that is still alive.

My way has been longer than expected because, besides sport, I was always busy with other activities: I studied and graduated with a master degree in Communication Sciences in 2004, I began to work full time and then part time as my sport results improved.

In my free time I like to read, write and walk in the nature or in the city center, in the wonderful city where I live, Lugano.

Sometime I am lazy, because challenging the gravity force every day is tiring
